Medical information obtained as part of an application for insurance is shared only with those within the Uwharrie Capital Corp organization who require access to this information in order to process the application. Additional standards of confidentiality protect information related to trust and fiduciary services.

We will not share non-public personal information about current or former customers to anyone except as disclosed in this policy or as permitted by law.

Authorized Sharing and Joint Marketing

We may share information that we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as name and address, with companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. In some cases, this may be to offer you additional products or to help us determine other services that may be of value to you. In this event, a contractual agreement will ensure that your information is not shared beyond the context of the marketing agreement. We DO NOT sell customer lists or individual customer information.
