Switch Your Checking Account in 5 Easy Steps

We can help you make the change or you can print these forms and complete them at your convenience.

1. Direct Deposit / Automatic Payments (Standard Changes Request Form)

Move your direct deposits to your new checking account. Most companies will allow you to use this form to make the change.

or Direct Deposit / Automatic Payments (Government Agency Request Form)

This is the official government form that will instruct Social Security or other Federal Government Agencies to change your benefit check or direct deposit to your Anson Bank & Trust account.

2. Automated Payments - Change Request Form

Redirect your payments to your new checking account. Most companies will allow you to use this form to make the change. Should you need help, your Anson Bank & Trust representative can assist you.

3. Online Banking and Bill Payment - Enrollment Information

To enroll in Anson Bank & Trust Online Banking, go to www.AnsonBankandTrust.com and click the link "Enroll", found under the LOG IN button (top-left of page) and follow the instructions for enrollment. You will need your social security number and Anson Bank & Trust checking account number.

4. Account Balance - Personal Worksheet

Balance your old checking account. This Account Balance Worksheet will help you know what is available in your old checking account for deposit into your new Anson Bank & Trust account.

5. Account Closing - Authorization Letter

Close your old checking account. You can use this letter to notify your previous financial institution that you are closing an account and having funds directed to your new Anson Bank & Trust account.
