Bank of Stanly Donates Money to Educators

Monday, March 3rd 2008 - Albemarle, NC - Bank of Stanly, long committed to community support, continued their Educator’s Gift Program for Stanly County Schools’ teachers and staff by donating $3,000 to Stanly County Schools for their participation.

By taking part in the Educator’s Gift their $1.00 service charge is donated to the Stanly County School of their choice. If 90% of teachers and staff participate in the Educator’s Gift Program, Bank of Stanly will donate $15,000 to Stanly County Schools.

Educators, with an Educator’s Gift account can access their account, transfer funds and pay bills at their convenience with Online Banking and Online Bill-Pay 24-7. Coupled with Direct Deposit, teachers and staff can manage all of their finances from the comfort of their home.

Those paid on a 10-month cycle can elect “Paycheck Stretch”, which helps manage funds for the full 12 months, while earning competitive rates.
