Mike Massey Joins Uwharrie Capital Corp
as Senior Vice President and Director of Administration
Monday, November 24th 2008 - Albemarle, NC - Roger Dick, President and Chief Executive Officer of Uwharrie Capital Corp is pleased to announce that on August 1, 2008, Mike Massey joined Uwharrie Capital Corp as Senior Vice President and Director of Administration.
Mike’s background and experience includes over 30 years in human resource management, process management and purchasing/procurement in the manufacturing industry.
Mr. Dick commented, "Mike has the strong management abilities to oversee our enterprise-wide human resources and facility operations. He has exceptional interpersonal and team building skills and the ability to build solid community relationships."
Mike received his Associate of Arts Degree from Wingate University, and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science and Economics from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas.
He is a member of First Lutheran Church in Albemarle and is an Assistant Scoutmaster with BSA Troop 82 in Albemarle. Mike resides in Albemarle with his wife, Melanie and children, Patrick, 13 and Ryan, 9.
